I am feeling good. Experiencing some back pain, but other than that I am sleeping great and can not complain!!
Hard to believe I'm headed into the 7th month/3rd trimester!!
Everything starts to feel more real ... when you order a crib!! That is on the agenda for us this week :)

What an experience.. to be living in Illinois the week before a huge game between the rival teams. The paper on Monday morning said, "Bring on the Pack." I hope they know what they are asking for.
We have to keep our comments to ourselves, but I figured it was safe to say on here. GO PACKERS!! Usually I only blog when I have something worthwhile to say... today I just have random thoughts... but isn't that what a blog is for anyway? Don't say I didn't warn you. :)
I got something in the mail from Netflix today telling me I have a free trial. In it it says "You'll be amazed at how much movie enjoyment Netflix can provide for as low as $7.99 a month. I don't think they know me very well. Anyone who knows me well knows that movies very rarely bring me much enjoyment at all. And watching multiple movies each month? Oh boy! How come people don't shovel in Illinois?? Many people don't like getting snow here. And as much as I like snow, I can't blame them. When no one shovels, even two inches of snow is a total hassle because no one shovels the sidewalk. People here have never heard of having an ordinance where you HAVE to shovel your sidewalk. Maybe if people learned how to shovel (not to mention if the city learned how to plow and SALT, we all could actually ENJOY the snow we get.... MAYBE! :) How early is too early to put up a crib? I have been trying to hold on baby things as much as possible, but I'm ready to get started! We finally got our office cleaned out (YEAH!!) Noah's desk fits upstairs which is really great. But I am ready to put up a crib any day now. I think it will freak out Noah just a bit, but I think we're ready :) What is it about having things written on the calendar that makes me feel better about life? We had a staff meeting today and our calendar went from relatively empty to totally full. It's amazing how much you have to pack into one semester in campus ministry. It is a bit overwhelming, but for me just having it written down is a huge relief! I'm feeling really good overall (and am very thankful for that). Other than some minor back pain and going to the bathroom a lot, I'm pretty much feeling normal. Except for one thing... I can't stomach the thought of eating chicken. I don't know what it is, but I can't get myself to buy it, cook it, and only rarely can I talk myself into eating it (if someone else cooks it for me). This eliminates about half of the meals I normally make and eat, but Noah is a good sport, and we have just been eating lots of beef :) That's all for now. Thanks for bearing with me! Any other random thoughts out there?? Do share! It's been awhile since I updated about the baby, so I thought I would do just that. Over the last week we have enjoyed doing some practical things to get ready for her arrival. We signed up for Childbirth Classes (as well as an infant CPR course), registered at Babies R Us and Target, bought bedding, and have hung up a bunch of clothes she has already received from other people. Now I am anxious to get Noah's desk out of our office and buy a crib!! Time is flying by and we are very excited :) This picture is actually from last week (24 weeks). It still really depends what I wear as to how pregnant I look/feel. GO PACKERS!
But never too late to wish you a Happy New Year!! We have had a great few weeks of Christmas celebrations, seeing family and friends, connecting with supporters, and preparing for the semester! Not to mention, getting ready for our baby girl! We celebrated Christmas just the two of us in Champaign, spent Christmas with Katie's extended family in Platteville, and saw Noah's immediate family for a destination Christmas at Wisconsin Dells. :) We Our annual gingerbread house. Notice this year it says N K + 1 :) Our favorite gifts from each other... Native sunglasses and Chaco sandals. The Rogers Family Merry Christmas from the 3 of us (I'm 23 weeks in this picture) :) An adorable picture of my niece Claire :) Matt, Laura and I. We we each got a Christmas ornament from my mom. Matt opened his first and got excited. It said, "Youngest child, mom's favorite." But then he found out that mine said, "Middle Child Mom's Favorite" Can you guess what Laura's said? HA! Good thing Santa found Claire :) The Haas Family :)
