Nothing makes Ellie happier than having our neighbors over to play or pushing baby Stella in her stroller. This day she got to do both!!!
I got a good laugh out of this today as Josie continued to do this 20 or more times :) She's learning to dance just in time for her uncle Brady's wedding!!! :) I don't think Josie has any idea how atypical it is for kids are age to hang out on campus. She joined me for one of my meetings with students this week. :) Here she is hanging out in Starin Hall. I apparently didn't bring enough toys because she totally pulled apart my bag and the diaper bag. I had a good laugh when I was about to leave the room and gave one final look to make sure I had everything and I saw a pair of Ellies underwear laying on the ground. Whoops! We spent the last few days at a camp near Hudson Wisconsin with staff friends from around the region. As much as we miss the Il/IN region, we feel right at home in this region full of delightful young families. There are 7 babies in the region younger than josie!! (Including 3 month old twins and a 3 week old who were all at these meetings!) We didn't get a lot of sleep but it was time very well spent. Living life alongside friends and co-workers is such a blessing! We heard updates on how The Lord is working around the region, received teaching from Vic Black on the Holy Spirit, planned details of the upcoming fall conference and laborers conference and spent time looking at our regional roles for the next few years among other things. Nothing gets my admin brain more excited than looking at a grid with dates like summer 2015 and fall 2016. :) Most of my time was spent spent with the girls. A highlight was pushing baby Josie in her stroller while Ellie cared for baby Stella (see picture). Ellie is a proud little mommy! (And so am I!) |
