Katie and I got to enjoy a picnic on Lake Altoona last night with our friends Josh and Colleen.  This Wisconsin summer is drifting away too quickly!

Hey friends.

Prayer requests have been updated as of today.  Please lift us and our students up in prayer as we head into the school year.  The first 3-5 weeks are SO crucial for the freshmen as they enter the college environment.

Another urgent prayer request would be our funding.  We're currently at 56% of our needed committed support budget.  We're required to be at 70% in order to jump in full-time with the students when they move in.  The math:  that's about $700/mo of monthly/annual commitments in the next two weeks.  Please pray.

Our staff planning retreat got off to a great start yesterday.  Our student leaders will be arriving Thursday night and we'll have a retreat with them through Sunday.
