Two weeks from today we head to Spring Hill (a 3 week summer training program for students around the IL/IN region). The countdown to the end of the year is upon us. This is always a very bittersweet time!
Most heavy on my heart right now is saying goodbye to a student I met right after moving here last April. We have met 1-1 all year, she co-led my bible study with me and has truly become a dear friend over the last year! I will miss her greatly...
The next couple weeks are full of lasts... our last bible study meetings, our last nav night (This Thursday), a 2nd Annual Reading Day Eve party (at our house!) and our last 1-1's of the year with the students. It is a time to celebrate all that God has done, to thank HIM for what He has done in our lives and the lives of our students, and to look ahead with prayerful anticipation of what is still in store.
We are really excited for Spring Hill and for summer, but don't want to rush past these next two weeks.
