Has anyone ever found this? After getting home, I noticed a FEW in our salt shaker... GROSS!! After throwing the salt away, giving the shaker a deep clean, and refilling it, today I found ANOTHER ant in there. ?!?!
We might as well be at camp :)

Ew gross! I don't think we've ever had ants in the salt shaker...good luck keeping them out!

I have found them several times in the salt shaker in my cabinet. Right now we have a lot of rain in the Pennsylvania area and I'm having an outbreak of ants . I have found some in the salt shaker again in the cabinet. Since I've seen them on the counter I'm putting them out there own special saltshaker . Wheneverr I find them in the shaker they are either dead or close to dead. I don't know if that's because they can't find their way out and die from Dehydration. Hey whatever works for these little suckers I'm willing to try.

I now keep my salt/pepper shakers in a shallow dish of water. The ants can't get to them.

I have to create an ant moat for the cat food dish. If I don't, the ants get into the cats food and he won't eat the food because of the ants!

Yep. At first thought I'd accidently mixed pepper with the salt. A whole bunch of dead ants in the salt. It's a simple clear, bevilled glass shaker. Leave a Reply. |
