and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
who forgives all your iniquity,
who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
-- Psalm 103:1-5
This is what I was blessed to read in my devotions this morning. I was reminded of all God does for us, and how truly thankful I am to Him for it.
Verse 2 reminds me to "forget not all his benefits." So rarely do I actually stop and remember what He's done for me. As I've gone through my day, I've tried my best to be mindful of "all his benefits".
- My commute to work (campus) is less than 15 minutes on my bike.
- I'm blessed to be able to work with my incredible wife and a wonderful staff team.
- As thousands of freshmen arrive on campus in just a few weeks, we'll again have the privilege of investing our lives in these young hearts and advancing the Gospel among them.
as far as the east is from the west,
so far does he remove our trangressions from us.
Thank you Lord!
