Brett Favre has an "itch" to play again.**
In some ways, I think I know how he feels. Soon enough the summer heat is going to give way to cooler air and beautiful Wisconsin fall colors. And soon the campus will transform from a sleepy set of buildings to a busy, noisy, exciting place of living and learning.
Katie and I have enjoyed our slightly lower-key summer of travel (we've been blessed to visit with many of you!). We've enjoyed a break from the busy semester schedule.
But I'm becoming more anxious to see what summer brought to many of our students. I'm excited to see how God is going to change their lives (and mine!) in this upcoming semester. I'm looking forward to helping some nervous freshmen move into their dorm rooms. I'm praying for God to get a hold of the lives of many students at UWEC. I'm asking the Lord to work SALVATION on our campus.
I'm getting the itch.
