If you would have told me 10 years ago that I would start vacationing in Wisconsin, I would have laughed out loud! But, turns out, that is what Illinois people do. :) We obviously go to visit family, but it is amazing how many friends/students we know vacation in Wisconsin just because it is so beautiful! (And not to mention, the absolute best state! :))
After the 2nd hottest July on record in Champaign, we were overjoyed to head North for a vacation! We had so much fun watching Ellie enjoy the outdoors. She is so alert and loved to stare at the lake, the trees, the water, etc. She got to meet her Uncle Brady, Aunt Chelsea and soon to be Uncle Matt. Ellie got to see all of her aunts, uncles and grandparents and of course, her cousin Claire! She even got to meet some of Noah's aunts, uncles, cousins, and a few of our college friends. YAY!!
While we were in Wisconsin Ellie learned to suck her thumb, hold up her head MUCH better and take long naps in her carseat (ha!)
