WOW! That few weeks just flew by.
Life's been crazy for us, as I'm sure it's been for many of you. Here's a few highlights:
December 5th: Christmas Party
We found ourselves dragging a bit into December, feeling the exhaustion of the semester. But the Christmas Party was a nice encouragement. Katie and I scurried to build fun costumes (see below), and the UWEC staff and students organized a short "good-bye" time for us. We were blessed by several students coming and sharing with the group how God has used us to bless their lives and help them grow in their walk with Jesus. We also received a signed picture from the whole group, and were prayed over by several staff and students. It brought some closure for us as we head into this time of transition. We're going to miss all of you at UWEC!
December 13-18: Staff-in-Training Conference
I (Noah) attended the annual training conference for SiT Navigators in Delevan, Wisconsin. Sadly, Katie was unable to join because of student teaching. Nevertheless, I was greatly encouraged by teaching and conversations with members of our national leadership (whom I respect greatly!), as well as great times of fellowship with other SiT staff. I was able to spend some time with staff from the Illinois/Indiana region, whom Katie and I will be walking through our training with soon! They're wonderful, humble people who are passionate about advancing the Gospel on their campuses, and we're excited to be involved with them!
December 20: Katie's Graduation!
Katie is now a college graduate! On Saturday we attended the commencement ceremony followed by a fun lunch with parents and siblings. I'm so proud of her! However, as many of you know, she's back at school teaching today and tomorrow, and technically won't receive her degree until she's finished her student teaching on January 23rd. Sad but true!
Thanks to those of you who have supported us with end-of-the-year gifts. You're truly a blessing! If you'd still like to give an end-of-year gift online or via phone, you can do so here. We hope God has blessed the generosity of so many of you!
I'll be updating our prayer requests as we enter into our time of transition. We'd love to pray for you as well. Let us know how we can do so!
We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas! We have so much to be thankful for! Thanks for walking with us through this journey!
